This quad background works with almost any colour background literally from white to black. Here are just a few:

Obviously, if you are using light background colours, you have to change your font text colour to a dark colour.

Remember, to change the colour of any transparent background, all you have to do is change the BGCOLOR within the BODY COMMAND to the desired colour.
